Hourly Mechanic Rates and Parts Costs

Charges for virtually any line of work consist of the cost of labor and materials.

We charge $70.00 per hour for our labor time as our day rate.

*Note: Emergency and after hours rates apply to work performed outside our standard work day.

Labor time is calculated based upon industry-standard labor rate guides which estimate time required to complete a specific task (book time). By hiring very experienced mechanics, we attempt to perform work faster than the “book time”; thus, creating the ability to increase profitability. If we spend more time than “book time,” the customer is not penalized.

We mark up automotive parts 30% over our actual cost, which is oftentimes similar to that which an individual would pay in a parts store.

There is a $25.00 minimum trip charge to cover the expense at the time of diagnosis. Oftentimes, repair work is so simple that there is no justifiable time expense other than the trip to you. Our pricing is well below our competitors at local garages and dealerships. We encourage you to compare.
